Oliver Andrews is an Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer at Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) where he leads the deal origination, execution and management of the investment portfolio. He previously headed the origination and coverage division, which executed over US$1 billion of high-impact developmental projects across Africa. An entrepreneurial engineer and transport economist, Oliver has over 30 years’ experience across the major infrastructure sectors and 20 years as an infrastructure project financier and strategic adviser. He holds an MBA from the University of Wales, is an Electrical and Electronic Engineer and Chartered Marketer (UK), and also a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics (UK).
